I will send you the one I have. I was lucky enough to get one for my 84 a few years ago

Wiring Diagram for 89 Spider Graduate

Hello fellow Alfa lovers.

I'm new to the Alfa world recently purchasing an 89 Spider Graduate. I've always like these cars.

However, the car is with a 'experienced' mechanic (yes, there's a reason it's in quotes) and apparently, he's at his wits end trying to get the car to start. After replacing the crank shaft sensor he believes the issue is with the computer or relay. But as of now he's simply guessing b/c he says there are no wiring diagrams he can refer to. He's really making my first experience with my Spider an poor one.

Papajam, would you be able to email me the wiring diagrams for this car? My email is ajayp at centralknowledge dot com.

Any advice is welcomed

Thank you in advance.

Ajay

1986 Spider Graduate

Having problems with some lights not working. Fuses all replaced and grounds all cleaned. Looking at the back of the fuse box to see if any wires came loose. Can someone send me the wiring diagram. [email protected]

There's a large red wire that runs from the starter hot terminal to the steering column switch. You'll need to take the steering column shroud off to get to it. Before you do anything else, clean that contact and then check that you are getting 12 volts at the headlights. That may solve your problem.

Checked the red wire on the column switch and have 12.4 there. My problem is the monopod, console and running lights. So, I checked the yellow wire coming from the column to the back of the fuse panel and I have 12.4 there too. Going to look further down the line this evening. Any suggestions would be helpful. Cheers!
