GTV roll cage hoops

I was making a roll cage for a GTV and ended up with two main hoops that were not as snug as I liked. Driver is very tall and needs max room. $50 each OBO must pick up @NMSP

Hi, An Alfisti visiting NOLA and needing an Alfa fix!! Due to the age of this post fear this endeavor has vaporized!!?? But hope springs eternal in my Alfa heart, so will give this a bump and see what bolts fall out!! Would be nice if any NOLA Alfisiti could provide info on Alfa centric things to do in the "Big Easy"!! Thanks in advance Ciao Paul

Paul - go on the AROC website then to Chapters. The Deep South Alfa Romeo Club might have something going on, but I'm afraid it's a long shot. There is a small private collection (no Alfas) in Gulfport, MS - Busted Wrench Garage. The owner, John Hans, has a variety of cars in his "museum" attached to his business.

I moved away from the MS Coast 2+ years ago, so I'm a little out of touch, but there's no much Alfa fix you can get in NOLA. Oh, there is a new dealer (Alfa and Maserati, I think), but I'm not sure where.

Good luck. Hopefully more Alfisti will chime in.

Hmm, I don't think we have any Alfa related stuff going on any time soon. We just had a meeting at middendorfs a week or so ago and this is it for us until January some time. It won't be specifically Alfa related, but I am told there are a couple of cars and coffee groups meeting up in the New Orleans area on various weekends. I am in Baton Rouge and our group meets up on the first Saturday of each month in the overflow lot of the local MB dealer. Not sure if any of that was helpful. Our chapter is really spread out. It makes it difficult to get things going.

Wow. Middendorfs. Fabulous place. Thin, thick or softshell? Yummmm. I'd weigh 300 lbs if I still lived down there!

I had an 82 spider when I was there. Ken
