Hey AlfaBBAdmins,

Your password syntax checking does not consider an underscore (_) a special character.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Thx

Is the syntax checking feature supposed to be 'real time'? mine doesn't work AT ALL.

It should.... hummm, I will have them look into that. I have a - in my password and that works. _ should work too.

Same here. I've tried 3 times to change my password with no success. Having recently had both my Rennlist and FChat accounts hacked, with scammers trying to sell bogus parts through my account, I'm glad to see the Admins are taking this security step.........I just wish changing the password worked.

Angry Poor execution

Sorry, I think Admin really screwed up this process.
Getting an email saying "Your password has been reset by an administrator" -- without a word of explanation -- is just rude.
Subjecting us to a video ad from Progressive Insurance -- REQUIRED in order to send in a message about how bad this process is -- is double-rude.
What were you thinking, Admin?
And how many members care if their access to this site is not super-safe? I have a very low profile, and I'm not keeping any confidential data here!

Why am I not finding this? It seems it's not leaving me logged in.

User CP is located in the TOOLS pull down along the top menu bar of the page. See attached image. The items which have a trailing down pointer are pull down menus; putting your mouse above the menu name (aka hovering) exposes the menu's items.

Typical shorthand for id'ing such an item is TOOLS->User CP.

User CP link is also at the top right of every page next to the Log Out button.

Same with me. I enter the old one then go to enter the new one and repeat, but the button at the bottom to accept the changes is not active. I have used all of the required lettering format in my new password but no luck.

Any advise? I am using Internet Explorer.

Thanks. Jeff

Yep, you're correct. I hardly ever look at that corner of the page, whereas I regularly use the TOOLS pulldown.
