After all that...redone injectors, fixed an air leak, new hoses etc: failed NJ emissions inspection.... Test results for my 1987 Spider 65K miles are:
Idle Test:
HC ppm Reading 558, Allowable 220
CO% Reading 0.66, Allowable 1.2
CO2% Reading 13.34
O2% Reading 1.77
High Idle test:
HC pmm Reading 192, Allowable 220
CO% Reading 0.7, Allowable 1.2
CO2% 14.00
O2% 0.66
Was thinking an oxygen sensor, but I'm a molecular biologist--this isn't my thing.... Anyone with any thoughts?
