Well, its almost time to come home.

There's a great thread going about restorations and how much is too much. Having stripped this car down myself. I'll certainly say it's easy to do a more thorough job than what the factory did. There were certainly nooks and crannies that paint was never sprayed on, and there were underside areas that didn't receive any undercoating. It was only original once.

Wow, it looks fantastic. I'll bet you can't wait to get started putting it back together.

Thanks to Fender and Fins in Woodinville, WA

Thanks to Jon and Cory at Fenders and Fins in Woodinville, WA for the great job they did on the bodywork and paint on the Duetto.

For this part of the project, I had to let the experts do their thing. They had the skills, I paid the bills.

Now its back to my garage....

Back at home.

I think the first job will be painting the interior areas in black that the factory had done.

Great, Jeff. Most folks miss that detail. It's going to help hide the red paint in those areas that don't get fully covered with trim bits, carpet and mats.

No, the first job is installing the rigid brake lines.

OK, I'm kidding - go ahead and paint the interior areas if you want to do that first. But do install the brake lines before bolting on any suspension or underhood parts.

I envy you - this is a fun part of a restoration.

Oh, that would be some of the missing parts. That, and the fuel lines.
