I'll be there looking for GTV 105-115 parts. I posted about this too, but in another forum--duh! So much to see here on the board. Oh well--Haig, are you selling?

74 Berlina (first car--miss her)
94 164 LS (gone too)
83 Spider (alas, gone)
74 GTV (still have conjugal visits at least)
1987 Milano Verde (now in good hands)

Today's European Car Swap Meet

Did anyone go to this swap meet? I was out of town, and got there very late, just as the last people were boxing their stuff up and leaving. It looked like mostly a Porsche show, with one wierd old Hillman holding up the British end. Was there much Italian car presence?

If you look at your ticket it says "German Autofest" or something like that. Basically it was the Porsche club and anyone else who cared to go. I saw a couple of Bosch Spiders, and a Blue 74 GTV and Red Milano in the parking lot. Kind of a joke.

Alfa Swap Meet next month

Thanks for the info, Storsav. Doesn't sound like I missed much.

Don't forget everyone, AROSC is holding its Spring swap meet next month, Sunday March 13 at Uwe's shop (Omega Motorsports) in Culver City (on Clarington, off Venice Beach Blvd).

Also, Dave Evans will be there with his portable dyno for anyone who wants a horsepower run or a dyno-tuning session.

Each year the Porsche Club has a national memorabilia and literature swap meet in early February. It used to be at a hotel near the airport. They had concours/car show/parts meet the next day. I think this was nothing more than an attempt to expand that meet to all imported cars. It looks like it wasn't very successful...
