Burmann Steering Box Rebuild

I'm looking to get the Burmann Steering Box on my 66 GT Veloce rebuilt.

I have no idea as to its condition as its out a car that has been off road for 15 years. It does rotate freely but is completely dry. I do have a spare from a later 1970s spider (longer shaft) that could be used for parts.

Any suggestion on who does a great job on 'box rebuilds?? It's critical its done right

I am based in Perth WA buy happy to send it elsewhere in OZ to the right shop

They really aren't that hard to rebuild - there is a sticky on the suspension section of the BB. If the case is not cracked and the bearing races not badly rusted you would probably be need only replace the balls and swap out the shims if there is undo slop in the system.

Agree with gprocket that there is enough information on this forum to manage a Burman rebuild.
Alternatively the very helpful Alfisita specialist in Canberra is known as ‘Clayton105’ on this forum.
