101/105 wheels wanted

Hi Guys,
Just canvassing what is available 2nd hand while awaiting arrival of my "new" car!
It is currently fitted with 14" x 5 1/2" Turbina wheels.

Does anyone have a set of minilite style wheels they would be interested in selling? Same size as above.
I really like the Panasports but not sure whether I could get them in a suitable size.

I would be interested in 15" 750/101 steel wheels but can't imagine too many people will have them lying around in Australia.

I've kinda let the cat out of the bag so to speak, but will post photos/story/model when the car gets here!

I'm located in Sydney.

Regards Daniel

Sounds like you've got a Giulietta coming? Spider or Sprint? If so, welcome to the club. And consider joining the Giulietta Register out of the UK - costs about $70-80 AUD yearly, worth that just to get the quarterly magazine and access to an archive of all the old magazines.

Good luck getting the 101 rims - although there is an Alfa enthusiast out Stanthorpe way in Queensland who dropped a Giulietta Sprint body onto a 105 platform, so he may have some leftovers. Tony McKone in Sydney may know of a set, too, as he looked after some 750/101 cars in Sydney when he ran McKone Automotive. Sprints look ultra nice on the repro 15x4.5J alloys - available out of the UK (got mine from ClassicAlfa) for under $2k a set delivered to Oz. Hubcaps to suit are also available.

Cheers
Geoff

Not yet. Just seeing what is sitting around while I wait for my car to arrive.

I have not owned a Alfa for nearly 18 years.
I owned a 1964 Guilia Sprint GT for nearly 10 years (love to see that car again, it was very original). Since the Alfa, I bought a 94 MX5. I've had it for 19 years. Brilliant car.

14 years ago I caught an incurable disease. I was bitten by the "motor racing bug"! I can't shake it.

.........

Perhaps I'd better start another thread and introduce myself properly!

Regards Daniel
