Question Stelvio Bluetooth Issue

I just bought a Stelvio and I really like the car. I am having a problem keeping my iPhone connected to the audio system. I brought it in and they said my software was up to date and suggested I use an Apple lightning cord instead of the smaller after market lightning cable I used, however I'm still having a problem especially, when I try to use Google maps or Apple maps.

Has anyone else had this problem? Were you able to find a solution?

Are you sure the phone is transmitting at full strength? My iPhone 6 has developed the same problem in my '14 Merc and turns out this is a well documented problem with them. To the point that iFixit sells a kit to repair them.

Although now I'm confused because of your topic title says Bluetooth but you talk about cables.
