"BC" means what?

All five push buttons on my Becker Europa are labeled "BC."
When I get it wired what will I hear?
Thanks,
Richard B.

Garage
I don't know what BC stands for but I've seen several images that indicate it covers AM in the 540 - 1600 kHz range (image below from this web page).

BC = BroadCast, which was an earlier name (alternative name perhaps?) for the AM band.
You find some Beckers referred to as BC/FM radios (which we would call nowadays AM/FM radios)

BC equals Broad Cast

So, I might hear Italian (or European) talk radio.
I think I'll look for a radio with a couple of FM buttons.
"Spiderserie4," thank you.
