AROSC Race/TT Big Willow Jan 17-18, 2015

Registration is now open at MotorsportReg.com for the January event. A couple of items:

- We will have an "Alfa Only" TT run group

- We will also have our lunchtime "Intro" group again. 25 bucks gets you a classroom session, and 30-40 minutes following an instructor around the track in your car. Great deal to expose friends or newbies to the world of road racing.

- For the "Alfa Only" guys, we will work some sort of deal with you if you also want to run in the Open race each day. Practice with your buddies, then compete with everyone...

Here is the registration link.

NOTE: AROSC always has fire and rescue personnel at the track for our events. We rarely ever need them, but when you have an emergency, we want to be ready!

The Alfa Only run group, is a TT group. Which level is it? Open or point-by?

Or maybe a better question is: Can I run my new Alfa in it without adding any safety equipment?

You can run your car as is. It will be a point by group. We don't want ANY paint scratched!

The Alfas are coming

Well the Alfas will be there. Now 17 are signed up to run in the Alfa Only TT Run Group.
Also a few of these will be in Race Group. Terry/Slaysman is making them some sort of deal on the price.

I will try to have my GTV put back together, I don't want to miss the Alfa run group.
The engine and trany are at Uwe's and he said it will be finished in time. Sounds like fun.

After careful consideration and confirming at least one ride-along our committee of 1 is proud to announce that:

AROSC announces that the Alfa Romeo 4C will be the
"Official Pace Car" for the Willow Springs Time Trial and Race

Just signed up the '86 SVO for the race group. Hopefully I'll be making enough HP to at least keep up with those pesky Miata's down the front straight! At Ca. Speedway those guys were gaining 10 car lengths down the front stretch. That just aint right!

Okay, Vince. We are going to get that boost going next weekend. That car should kick butt. My XR4Ti breaks the tires loose in 1st and 2nd when it hits 3,500-4,000 rpm. That is Toyo RA-1s.

Incredible weekend! Weather could not have been better! Lots of beautiful Alfas came out, including two 4C's and one 8C. A class lap time record was broken TWICE in one day. Many thanks to Anthony, Paul, Santo, Brandon, Manuel, etc, etc, for pulling this off.

Caliphotography got some group and individual pictures at CaliPhotography

Track Video

I finally found the time to edit some track film. This is me chasing Brandon. We're both driving the new Alfa Romeo 4C. Sunday, third Alfa practice.
