spyders in the garden

Hello,
My name is Dan Ziol. I am hosting an invitational event at the LA County Arboretum. I need Alpha Spiders to participate. Please consider coming. There is NO cost to participate

see below please

Spyders in the Garden

2013 Los Angeles County Arboretum
Invitational Display of
Pre 1975 Spyder Automobiles

In 2012 the LA County Arboretum held itís first in garden special display of unique automobiles. The event featured Shelby Cobraís and was called Serpents in the Garden. This year the focus will be Spyders or should I say Spiders. The event is designed to bring together two worlds. Seeing vintage classic cars set by themselves in a garden setting fascinates both the nature lover and the car-a-holic. The event even has a special challenge for kids. A scavenger hunt (of sorts) sends the kids looking for answers to questions located at each car. They then get a price of a hot-wheels toy. Another one for the kids is a chance to have their picture taken (by their parents) sitting in a mini spyder car.
This year the event will be held on Sun. Oct. 6th with the cars moving into their special viewing locations just before public opening. Each car owner will find a great diversity of visitor asking questions and area photographers finding the perfect angle to capture the essence of each car with the perfect background of the garden.
A new addition for this year will be a private reception for supporters of the Garden after the public viewing hours. To make the reception even more special, after the closing, the cars will parade thru the garden to the fountain area were the reception will be held. Now for the best part. Ed Justic Jr. of Justic Brothers will share some personal experiences.
This is NOT a concourse, the only trophy will be the satisfaction of sharing your pride with people that may not know what a distributor is. There is NO entry fee and the owner and up to two other people will be admitted to the garden without charge. The Arboretum does charge for entering the garden. It is important to have someone attend to each car during the day to answer questions (and maybe pose with their baby)
We need a firm commitment to plan the locations and acknowledge the owners in the event brochure. Prior to the event any owners that wish to preview the event may contact me to arrange a tour of the garden. There is an area for trailers if anyone needs or wants to come that way.
This is NOT a massive car show, we are only looking for around 30 cars to illustrate the diversity of the roots of sypder automobiles. But at the same time this event has garnered significant attention from various groups. Your car will be in a select group cars that have been allowed inside the Arboretum to park in their own private setting (almost all of them on the grass)
A small poster will be produced with information of the car, maybe itís history and something about the owner. The visitors find these to be most interesting and always start conversations.

There we are, Please contact me regarding your interest in this event. We need to lock down the participants and produce the poster well in advance of the event, so your prompt response is essential.

Thank you for your consideration

Is this spyder in the garden show limited to Alfa's only? Would a 2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio be welcome?

Sounds like a great event. Please, though, be sure that the poster you describe spells it "ALFA".
