Even sadder was that I heard that the corner workers made the driver get away from the car and wouldn't let him use his fire extinguisher. The corner workers apparently didn't use any fire extinguishers either. I was never able to determine if they had them or not at the stations. At any rate, as far as I know the car burned for over 45 minutes and no one fired of any extinguishers.

Terrible track support!

...on the other hand, the track itself was great and challenging, and we had some super racing! Also, I understand Terry Major did an over the top job as "race commentator" on the PA Saturday, while Bev showed us how to drive his car.

Videos to come eventually...

It was a great weekend. Really good racing, great dinner sat night. The drive home sucked in my 60' box!

I have some great in car video that I am working on now. I am just waiting on one last piece of video before I can put it all together with highlights.

Like the Russels, this was really my first time on this track and looking forward to more racing here, but until then, buttonwillow will be next.

PS: Seriously, I had a blast of a weekend, even if I drove both days to and from home. Just when I was getting the hang of the track, I went farming during the last race, otherwise...
Great job done by our organizers, gridders, time keepers, etc. My many thanks.

You gave me a run for my money for sure. There were a couple passes that you made on me and I was like ***, where did Jorge come from. Loved every minute of it.

See you at buttonwillow.

Thanks Terry! That was awesome. Great racing, too bad I went off early, but still had a lot of fun until then.

laptime results

Is there any reason the results have NOT yet been posted?
Lately we could enjoy reading the results within 3 days after an event.

Also, I have been trying unsuccessfully to login to MyLaps.com.
Anybody knows if there's a problem? They don't respond to requests and there's no support for a lost password.
Jorge

I have been having teh same issues with MyLaps. It seems they "upgraded" their website and now it is not working very well. I have received a reply to my request for assistance but it was slow in coming and did not help. Boo hiss to IMB.

After months mylaps actually recongizes that I have an account but none of my old results are transferred over. Mylaps is very italian. Like a Ferrari sometimes she starts and sometimes she doesn't. For mylaps to work properly it seems that you must be inconvenienced and frustrated for some unknown time before the site starts to work for you.
