Do only the Sunday Times count for the official TT results or is there a TT on saturday?

The registration has TT for both days but does not state if Saturday is just practice.

I don't want to use up my new tires for just practice.

I signed up for TT.
Is this just AROSC or NCRC too?

Event details

Silver:
Timed laps are only on Sunday after the lunch break. So save those tires for Sunday.
Andrew:
This is an AROSC deal.

The line up for the weekend is looking more and more interesting.

- It looks like a Tipo 33 can make it, not sure what day yet.
- We are making plans for an on track photo of all Alfas, maybe at the end of the lunch break on Saturday.

Dinner update

I have been getting some phone calls and emails from ex-pat AROSC members.
Alan Ward has been talking this deal up with some his buddies from back in the day. He is gonna be one of the "speakers".
The dinner Saturday nite at The Palmdale Hotel may be worth the drive/flight.
Rooms are available (saves you from drink and drive issues) at The Palmdale Hotel: 661-273-1200
I need your RSVP before Aug 25 for dinner. Cost is $25.
email me at: [email protected]

Silver: let me clarify a little more from pauls comments. Timing is going to happen the entire weekend but the times that count for awards will happen after the lunch break on Sunday. In order to get times you will need an AMB transponder for the timing system to recognize you.

I have not booked a room or bought a track ticket yet. ATM our car has no motor, tranny or brakes. We have parts waiting to be installed, but they won't magically install themselves.

I will be at the track and the dinner even if I don't have a working car.

Update

This weekend looks like it will be memorable for us.
Just counting Alfas, with 4 weeks till the event, here is the Alfa headcount so far:
Race: 9
Time Trial: 9
And I know of about 10 cars that have not registered yet.
The Saturday dinner has almost 60 RSVP.
This will make the Alfa Romeo turnout the largest we have seen in, I can't remember when.
Of course there are a bunch of other cars entered.
So, click MotorsportReg.com : Online registration management tools for driving and social events and get registered.
So, email me your dinner RSVP. [email protected]

Paul--I plan to bring the race car and enter at least in race, holding off till I'm sure it will be ready.

How do we sign up for the banquet?

You might want to rethink that - I just signed up with our race winning, Alfa Owner cover gracing, 24 Hours of LeMons Milano. I signed up for the 'Hysterical Cars' run group.

Greatly looking forward to the event!

Well so much for the security features of Motorsports Reg.
Seems that Shorey snuck thru "a hole in the fence". We even gave him the wrong date for the event. That guy is smart.
OK, the event is now open to any cars that have the $$$$ and can pass tech.

Fine print disclaimer: I have been bugging Brian for months to bring the Milano. We need to show another side to our Italian cars, that they can run for lots of hours racing enduro.

Wait, money? Pass tech? I thought all that bugging indicated I was one of the 'invited' vehicles. Oh oh...

If we let those 100HP miatas in we can definately let the Alfa winner of the LeMons race in...
