AROSC Competition Director Change

Itís been my honor to be AROSC Competition Director for the past six years. Iíve enjoyed working with a bunch great folks who have volunteered their time to help put on DE, TT and Race events, and driving schools around the Southern California area. Itís also been a pleasure to see all the smiling faces of those who have participated. The time has come, however, for me to hand over the Competition Director responsibilities to another. Consequently, it is my honor to let you all know that Terry Watson has accepted the AROSC Competition Chair position and become the new Competition Director.

Terry is no stranger to those who have signed up and attended our events because he has handled event registration for as many years as I can remember. I know him to be committed to seeing the AROSC Competition Program succeed and I will support him enthusiastically as he takes up where I am leaving off. I also want to thank him for being willing to take on this job because itís a lot of hard work.

Thanks to you all!!

It is indeed an honor to be named as AROSC Competition Director. Bruce Colby and all the others that have held this position have done an outstanding job keeping AROSC track events smoothly running for many years. I appreciate the Ďvote of confidenceí that I will be able to continue this fine tradition. I look forward to the upcoming year, and all the track events. I also look forward to finding a new Registration Director!

We have some very good track dates so far, and are working hard to add a few more. We face some big challenges in this economy, and we have started to roll out a number of new changes that we hope will make us more competitive, both on the track and in the Southern California Motorsports marketplace. Some of these may take a little time to get polished and in place, but I feel confident that they will add to the quality and fun factor of AROSC.
