A special thank to Nizam who I had a few interesting duels with in the point by group.
I'll be back next time.
Magnus - we did have several good games of tag out there. In one of the sessions, it got a bit on the wet side and I was starting to lose grip (you can probably make out the raindrops on my windshield). But overall, I had a blast!
It's interesting how much more track you seemed to have when your car is almost half the width of mine
Here we are in one of those sessions going over Lost Hill.
Magnus got it, one that was really tough to get in and out
Alright, I don't have great pics to share, i hope this lap provides some entertainments. I have to say, I was still driving the car as if it's a Milano, years of habit i guess and seriously, I've driven other 400 horses cars, but this one was down right frightening... I'll definitely need more seat time to learn it.
Jess - you're right that you can't drive it like a Milano.
However, everything that you've learned about conserving momentum in the Milano can be readily applied. The F430 is actually very nimble for such a big car (relative to our Alfas, of course) and weighs only a little more than the Milano.

Just one comment - while the new run format saves the club lots of time and allows for more types of run groups, the anticipation and occasion of the staged time-trial runs is gone . I used to be very nervous in anticipation of the timed runs of the weekend, and being staged in the right place on the grid so as to not interrupt another member's run, or vice versa.
The new run groups is definitely nicer overall and cooperation is absolutely necessary by the participants in order to ensure the least amount of interruption to one another's timed runs. Keep it up!
I'll be bringing more new participants from NorCal at the next Buttonwillow or Laguna event. I think we'll have more participants in the TT run groups.
