Mulholland Run - August 7

On Sunday August 7 at 9:00 am we will meet at Village Coffee Roaster in Woodland Hills, I was thinking of doing a nice canyon run in the Malibu hills and then hit PCH ending with an early lunch at Neptunes Net.

Here is the route we will be taking. I'd print it in case you get lost.

Mulholland Hwy south to Stunt Rd.

Left onto Stunt Rd, to where it ends at Schueren Rd (aka Saddle Peak).

Right on Schueren Rd to Piuma Rd.

Right on Piuma Rd to Las Virgenes (aka Malibu Cyn).

Right on Las Virgenes to Mulholland Hwy.

Left on Mulholland Hwy to Kanan Rd.

Right on PCH to Neptunes Net

We will be leaving Village Coffee Roaster at 9:00 am. Here is their address:

Village Coffee Roaster
23351 Mulholland Dr.
Woodland Hills, CA 91364

You can go to their site, www.villagecoffeeroaster.com, if you want more information.

Legal Stuff: This is not an officially-organized drive or activity, and Alfa BB (or Anthony Rimicci, or anyone else) is not sanctioning it or organizing it. We are all simply driving to lunch, and the directions are provided for out-of-towners who might need the route.

9am on a Sunday is a pretty tall order for some of us, even if it were in my own backyard and not a 2 hour drive away...

Waking up at 6:30am on a Sunday is slightly less acceptable than having a large sharp object shoved underneath my toenail with a 15-ton press.

I imagine if you're yummy lunching at Neptunes Net you'll be leaving the Village Coffee Roaster aroung 11 - 11:30. I'm going to try to fasten my grandson's car seat in the Giulia Spider, put his helmet on and get to the Coffee Roaster by 10. Don't know if his mother will let me take him on a canyon run.

By the way. You might want to exit PCH going left and chow down at the historic Reel Inn. Eminent domain is closing this great fish feast down for a park. We finished our Spring Search for Flower rally there a few months ago and I think it's still open.

I take it nobody saw the other thread about this in the "events" forum: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/showthread.php?t=13800

I'll be at the coffee place depending if I can wake up Sunday morning this time instead of Sunday afternoon like last week.

Maybe we can get a group together for a drive in the fall...

I will try to make it over there tomorrow by 9, if I don't see any Alfas, I will wait until 10 or 11 before going down to Neptunes.

I am more interested in seeing Alfas other than non-alfas though
Even though I won't be driving my Alfa tomorrow (still waiting for the registration to come)

The Neptunes just sound too good to me, gotta go there and try it out.

See you guys tomorrow.

Hi Norm! Nice to meet you. Your Spider looks awesome.
I will try my best to get my GTV ready for the school.

Too bad nobody else showed up before I left.

The canyon run was fun - especially the fact that I ran it twice -

- Right on Las Virgenes to Mulholland Hwy -

Too bad my friend had a flat tire on the way down to PCH.

Actually, I did show up at the end of July hoping to chat with some alfitsi. My internet has been out for a few weeks so I didn't see that you changed your mind and weren't going. Did you guys do the drive this Sunday?
