Machine shop in Aloha, Hillsboro, Beaverton or Portland?

Hi, who do you guys like for a machine shop around here? I'm actually located in Hillsboro, but I know that most of the shops are probably in Portland...

I'm thinking of rebuilding an S3 engine for fun, then replacing mine when it goes south. I've rebuilt an M10 BMW engine before, and used Dan Hall Automotive in Portland. It sucked driving there and back...

So, who do you guys like and trust that can bore, work with the wrist pins, polish the crank, head work, etc?

Thanks-
John

Walked past that business many times. Good to know! One of my co-workers had them rebuild his BMW engine last year.

Thanks Neil,

John

Bump. This was several years ago. I am starting to rebuild my 2600 engine and want to be sure the machine work is done correctly for the vintage.
Thanks,
RickP
