Calling all 80s and 90s Alfas!

If you've got an Alfa from the "rad era", then you don't want to miss this! I would love to show up in force with other rad Italian cars. Let me know if you plan on attending

The organizer posted this a couple days ago... three Alfas signed up so far. I know we have a few more! Let's meet up at Dan's Hamburgers on Airport Blvd for breakfast before the show and then we can drive in together.

Great! Glad you're bringing a GTV6. That is a very 80s car

We need to be at the venue at 9am, so does 7:30am for breakfast work?

So if Dan's car drives, it looks like 4 of us. Unfortunately weather shows a 50% chance of T-storms Sat AM.

It's looking grim for my Milano making it. Probably have to go with the backup plan...

For what it’s worth, my other weather app is only calling for a slight chance of rain early in the AM.
And don’t forget period dress is compulsory! Breaking out he velour shirt...

I've got some old 60/70' s garb but no 80's. I think I wore then what I wore now. I'll wear a Pink Floyd t-shirt and have a Depeche Mode CD on. Both my appps are showing 50% rain Sat AM. I'll go anyway even though I'll just have had the SZ detailed. It's a car. I've got to load in at 0800 so I'll have a quick breakfast before I leave. Not a morning person. Maybe Dan can get Harold to bring his Milano and scrounge up a nice S3/S4 Spider. Bob's Maratona GTV would be great.

Yeah, I spent all day polishing the GTV6 and scrubbing dried wax out of welds with a toothbrush, but I wouldn’t miss this for anything. I took the car to the Regular Car Reviews meetup on F1 weekend and people went nuts for it. Imagine the reaction to the SZ! Almost a guaranteed best in show, especially since 75% of the cars there are going to be e30s and 911s.

At open car shows in the past most US iron guys hate it (not enough chrome) but the tuners love it. Their quote was that it was slammed before they invented slammed. That's Zagato. Love 'em or hate 'em. You will never miss it in the parking lot. I get a lot of *** is THAT? Just bring an umbrella. What's your backup plan Dan??

I see a lot of Audis and not many Alfas . . . . sad. . . . Do you know what Audis looked like in the 30's-70's?? Like washing machines.
