Anyone going to National Convention in Nashville?

Hi Texas Hill Country chapter. I am Jeff from the Lone Star chapter and I have signed up to attend the national convention next month. I will be bringing my 164. Is anyone from your chapter going? Let me know the date and maybe I can join the caravan. I am planning on leaving Dallas on Thursday, June 16th and coming back on Sunday, June 19th. I have asked around the Lone Star chapter to see if anyone is going and have not heard anything back.

Let me know and cheers.

Hi Jeff,
I'm from Orlando, FL and I'll be driving to Nashville bringing my 1962 Giulia Spider (in a trailer).
It's 700 miles each way for me. How far for you?
See you there.

Hi Steve,

I think it is about 600 miles from Dallas to Nashville. I should be able to make good time as I will not be bringing a trailer. Have a safe trip and can't wait to see the Giulia, those are special cars. Cheers.

Thanks for that update. Send me their BB names here (it can be a private message) or send them a message asking them to contact me if they want to meet up somewhere and caravan together. Thanks, Jeff.

Hey Jeff,
Bernie Bennett From Brenham. We depart for the Pre Convention Tour in two days & so can not caravan with you. We will be in our black Chevy Volt; but will participate in all events but the time trials. This will be our 38th National Convention & the second in Nashville. Will be @ our timeshare in Nashville until Saturday hope to see you @ some of the events.
What color is your 164?

Hey Bernie, the preconvention tour sounds like a great plan and have a safe trip. I am leaving either early Thursday morning, the 16th, or possibly Wednesday evening on the 15th. So yea, caravanning is not an option. My 164 LS is dark blue. I just got it back from the mechanic where he swapped out a new timing belt and water pump, plus changed oil and transmission fluids, as well as lubricated all doors, hinges, and other maintenance items. The car is running great and it should be an uneventful trip as far as the car is concerned. Hopefully when I get onto IH-40 heading to Nashville I may run into some other Alfas.

We are staying at the hotel from Thursday through Saturday night and returning back on Sunday. I will be around on Friday washing the car, and at the concurs on Saturday. Come by and say hello if you can. I will also look out for your black Volt.

Safe travels and cheers!

Jeff
