Enter the Blasted Blizzard Alfa Photo Contest!

Okay, here we go!

We can't let the fact that the latest snowfall here in the greater Boston area was measured in feet instead of inches deter us from our Alfa Romeo proclivities! So we're launching a photo contest open strictly to all of you online Alfisti! The only requirement is that your photo's theme encompass both Alfa Romeos and heavy, ridiculous snowfall.

Submit your entries by sending them via email to [email protected]ocissima.com, or mail them to AONE, 300 Westfield Street, Dedham, MA 02026. The deadline is February 1st -- that's like a week from now. Judging will be performed by our crack team of compositional experts (a.k.a. the AONE BoD, who are *not* prohibited from entering). The winner will receive a rare and beautiful Giulietta 50th Anniversary poster provided by Alfa Romeo direct from Italy, plus a soon-to-be-rare (if not beautiful) Giulietta Giubilee poster and T-shirt. And it'll triumphantly appear in the next issue of Velocissima.

So get crackin'! Enter the Blasted Blizzard Alfa Photo Contest now!

If I could get to the garage I would have opened the door. Spiders snug inside awaiting the thaw. (and we were having such a mild winter)

Those photos were obviously faked -- it's been so freakin' cold that there's no way a tanker truck could have fallen thru the ice anywhere in New England...

You guys are doin' great -- keem 'em comin'!

Probably Michigan. I believe I've seen a TV program that showed this "short-cut" across the ice.

But, I swear Dave, it was headed for New England!
