Most of my track time is Lime Rock. I've been to NHIS as well (was there for the convention ...PIC of car attached to the end of the "how much track time thread..)
I've also been to the Glen and Bridgehampton (back in the early 90's)
The GTV6 is probably going to have to go unfortunately....Although I would love to have both the Vintage racer and the GTV6, it doen't make sense to keep both........
My car is in storage for the winter, but maybe in the spring. I'm planning on taking it out in late April, or early May, weather permitting. Let's try to get together then. In the mean time, you can see it on the AONE (Velocissima) or AROC-USA web site photos
also late to this thread (just noticed it). greetings from the town so nice they named it twice (maybe in recognition of having roads in twice as bad condition as anywhere else in the civilized world). mine's a 1981 GTV-6 (gray over tan interior), now a 3.0 which rolled over 100K on the tub 10 days ago, which I'v had since 1987. used almost exclusively to get out of the 'City, hopefully to Lime Rock or the 'Glen (time trials, track days), and with some seat time at Pocono and Summit Point (and for the older folks who remember, Bridgehampton). a fair amount of track time shared with John T and his dad (who also has '6)
Anthony -- Yep, been in Waltham 26 years and I hain't gone yet.
I work on Saturdays at the Charles River Museum of Industry -- staffing the museum to show visitors around -- why don't you drop by with your Spider, if it's nice out, so we can meet? After seeing how nice your car looks, I know you'll be truely disgusted with the way my Berlina looks! But now that it's summer I have big plans for it -- as always. There's a picture of it on the "SEDAN" forum, at the top of the thread titled "Get the Best" -- I'll bring the thread up to the top of the SEDAN forum page after I post this.
Anyway, my number is 781-893-7168. (Call from a land line since we don't answer un-ID'd callers.)
