Geez Dave, you sold off another one?

PS - I'm hoping one of the spiders will be in condition for autoX on Sunday. I dunno though, I kinda want to spend Father's day with my kids (I actually don't hate them, they, on the other hand...)

Nope -- that was my brother's very nice GTV that Frank acquired recently. Frank is a long-time AONE member who suffered Alfalessness for a few years but is now back among the living. I've got a lot of seat time in Frank's GTV (mainly during the week and a half by bro and I took to drive it back from San Jose). It'll be a kick to see it -- and Frank -- at the autocross!

i loves me some auto-x

alas, this sunday i have obligation to my wife's father, who is deserving because he provides the winter roof for my gtv.
will AONE be looking at organizing a september event?

what about something on, say, a monday afternoon in pittsfield in july or august? i have two free hours per week. and the GE plant seems to have a lot of real estate.

We are looking at more dates over the summer, and we are looking for more sites too.

Can you contact GE and see what the availability is?

Thx,

bs

Had an absolute blast!! I didn't think the Dino had it in 'er. I noticed a push getting worse and worse as the day wore on--wore being the operative word. I completely blew out the bushings on the lower "A" arms on the front end--nothing there! I literally "wandered" home. Suspension kit on order, coming soon.

Thanks to Brian, Kevin, Dave and all the others for putting on such a great event.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

Glad you had fun! What we lacked in organization, I think we made up for in enthusiasm!

Working on the next date. As always, if anybody knows of a better venue, we're all ears!

A promotion autocross for BMW was used on a parking lot across from Gillette Stadium this past weekend. I don't know what the deal was as far as permission and details, but it seemed to have plenty of room.

Thanks, do you know if that was part of the stadium, or owned by somebody else. You wouldn't happen to have (or be able to get) contact information, would you?

Thanks,

bs

Will do!

To all, as you can tell we're looking for more venues, hopefully with more space. If anybody has any leads, please pass them along, or e-mail them to me at [email protected]. Better yet, if anybody wants to help with some of the leg work, it would be much appreciated!

For anybody who can secure a suitable lot for us, AONE will have a special prize for you!

Thanks,

bs

I had a great run. In the AM short of Nick's (Fonte) Mercedes I had the best Alfa time until I started plowing cones :-( brain freeze I guess.
Still tons of fun. Thanks to all for coming to the event!
