If it wasn't put on a flatbed, nothing good could have happened. IMHO.

Maybe we can hope for the best, and the owner was a lurker on this bb, but wouldn't admit to leaving it there. The optimist in me says that he/she took care of it.

I cannot imagine anyone really abandoning that Alfa . On the other hand, it is often difficult to understand others motivations . Perhaps it has been "liberated" from the street to go on to a home where someone will appreciate it! Lets all keep an eye on E-bay and Craigs list!

Lord pray it does not wind up at the NYPD Pound In Erie Basin in Brooklyn. It will sit outdoors again.

maybe this was the one that was on the boston craigslist for 5k a month ago...

no one here ever claimed to have bought it but i know that it was purchased the day after it was posted because i was scheduled (the earliest the owner claimed to have been available i'd like to add) to see it the next morning!!!

I don't think that was the one. That was listed in mid-February. I called the guy too, but someone was already on the way to look at it. Half-an-hour later it was gone.
