Dumb question about expansion valve installation

So I’m getting close to reinstalling my AC system, with a full refit using modern components, and everything is going shockingly well. Among the new parts is an expansion valve. My original was missing the capillary tube with the coiled bit at the end. Thing is, I have no idea where that actually goes when I install the new one. Should it go into the evap box? There’s also a capillary tube connected to the thermostat control that inserts into the evap core. This is in an 82 GTV6 without tropicaire. I have no schematics or manuals for the AC system. Ugh.

Could someone just snap a pic of where that little tube goes? I'd appreciate it!

It goes against the outlet pipe of the evaporator. There's a clip that holds it against the pipe. It's a generic part for A/C systems of this era. So it should be attainable. You also need the tar tape that insulates the bulb. This can be had from any A/C parts supplier. Probably available on Amazon too.
