SA 3 Litre GTV6

Just finished a (tortuous) restoration of a South African 3 litre GTV6. Here are a few photos.

Nice project and nice car!

Would like to have the engine number on your car to determine from where the engine is sourced. Theory is that the engine is from the carburetted Alfa 6 which got bored up, but number could come from the GTV6 also if the engine used Alfa 6 heads. If you want to help determine this please send me a PM with your engine number.

Thanks Guys, the hood scoop is non functional.

As the engine is the special part of this car, I thought I might post some before pictures and also show it with the air cleaner on. The intakes are our design, as the the air cleaner had been butchered and pod filters added.

Thanks Guys, the hood scoop is non functional. As the engine is the unique part of the car I thought I would post some before, during and after pictures of it. The intakes are our design as the air cleaner had been butchered, chromed and had pod filters added.

Also the addition of power steering from a 75, which has transformed the car, blocked the intake slot on the left hand side of the radiator support panel.

Congratulations, brilliant job, if you could chuck it in a container and send it over to Perth WA I'd be very happy, always wondered what my gtv with 3 litres would be like, well done again.
