Sport Sedan rear three point seatbelts

I got this car so I could haul my 2 granddaughters around.

I know it only has lap belts but there is an anchor point for shoulder harnesses for the outboard rear passengers.

Anyone ever figures this out?

Milano maybe?

I rigged them up myself with Jeep Cherokee seatbelts and stock anchor points. No reel. adjust them the old fashioned way.

Rear seat belts

I got the correct retractor seat belts from Securon in the UK.

I can't post links, but go to securon [dot] co [dot] uk. Click on 'road vehicles' then on 'layouts'.

For the rear seats on an Alfetta it's product no. 254 and the retractor fits to the mounting that's already there on the 'C' pillar just behind the rear seat. The other two (lower) mounting points are there too, behind the seat cushions...

Thanks!! I just visited the site a minute ago.

I'm gonna poke around there some more, but in the meantime, here's a link.

Hi there! I just got a '79 Alfetta Sport Sedan and am trying to do the same thing. I got two little shrimps I'd like to haul around, so I want three-point seatbelts for the rear. Did you sort this out? If so, what seatbelts did you get and were you able to install them yourself without too much trouble?

I ended up taking a lap belt from a Jeep Cherokee and bolting one end to the C pillar and the other end to where the other seatbelts mount. You have to snug it up each time, but.......

HEY!! Wait a minute. Where are you located?

They're available in Europe from a major manufacturer.

I was in a pinch, and since I part out Jeeps, well, you get it.

I put manually adjustable belts in the rear of our Berlina. It's a bit of a pain to adjust, but once adjusted if the kids stay in the same seats you don't have to move them much. The downside is that there is no movement in the belts, so the kids hate them.

I plan to retrofit Milano rear belts one of these days. But new would be better.
