Cool An Alfa, a Fiat, and a Lancia drive onto a TV set...

The Grand Tour drives a GTV6, a Gamma, and an X1/9. Hilarity ensues.

My money is on the Fiat overheating. Broken temp gauge and overrun.....seems overheating is inevitable.

Yep... the GTV 6 will outlast the other two. Based on personal experience!

1982 Alfa Romeo, 1984 Lancia & 1979 FIAT.... and a 1960 Clarksonmobile...

My money is Mr Clarkson will be the one who'll break down first...

It's a tough call; the cars are all MOT-ed and taxed etc and look in excellent condition. it would be a nice twist if the camera crews Range Rover died first... just saying.

Haven't watched their new show, but based on the old Top Gear - they will find (or make) a way to break all three. That will help confirm that Italian cars are unreliable. Because no one would want to dispel that fact.

Then they will say how much fun it was to drive them - until they broke. Should I write the script?

No! Clarkson's a huge fan of the GTV 6, and Alfas in general. Jeremy would want the Alfa to come out the victor, IMO!

And so too is Matt Leblanc an Alfa fan, who on the new Top Gear chose a Stelvio to drive in an off-road, SUV torture test.

Yes, but I saw what he did to the 75 in the original show. Trans whine sounded suspiciously like the oil was drained out. Maybe the new show is better (hope so).

I remember reading somewhere that they had to sabotage the 75 to make it break. Otherwise, the show would not have been as fun to watch. The other cars apparently broke without any extra 'help'.

This is, after all, a comedy show that just happens to include cars, not a car show that just happens to be funny. Important distinction

Rumor has it that it was Clarkson and the Alfa seen on the side of the road. My money was on the X19

The GTV6 is the car Clarkson most regrets selling:

Realistically if those three cars were well maintained and not deliberately and maliciously abused, none of them should break - especially not the Gtv6.
