Any way to dump it into an archive somewhere?

If not, anyone know of any browser tricks to save a thread? I've tried several times to save a thread here and can only get one page at a time to save.

So there are tools that can download all the content on the site. I started to do it, but I don't have a login on so I can't get to all the good threads on the bb portion. I submitted for a login a few weeks ago now, but never got a login credential from the site admin.

If anyone knows the admin, ask him to approve the request for login credentials for "crackie" and I'll pull down the content and post it somewhere.

I don't know the admins. Can you let us know what those tools are? Maybe each of us that cares can download parts at a time and combine later.

Curious to know if these tools copy the whole website or thread-by-thread. With space constraints on peoples computers and/or servers that people might use, a thread-by-thread download might be the best approach. Also that way we can leave behind things like sandbox and off-topic content.

Might also be able to find at least parts of it on the archive sites. Have done this for the defunct 164 Digest site.

I use SiteSucker to pull down websites to a local drive. There are other tools out there, too, if you just search on "best way to download a website..."

A new board administrator and some cash saved ALFAGTV6.COM for at least two more years! :grin2:

Site Sucker appears to be for apple only.

Two years will come quick if we don't think of some way to archive. There seems to be tools out there that will either archive a single page or the whole website. I don't know how big the whole website is and don't want to find out by trying to start a download.

I would like to find a tool that will extract a complete thread of multiple pages.
