Vic Autosports sells a hot cam for the V6 engines that they say is a big upgrade over the factory S cams. From thier catalog:

Cam number 14-3835 is a serious performance
camshaft. The valve lift of this cam exceeds the limits of the
stock valve train. The cylinder head, adjacent to the valve
tappets, must be machined to allow the cam to clear the
aluminum head casting. Stock valve springs will not work,
you must use our Heavy Duty Springs to avoid high speed
coil bind. Modified fuel injection is required for optimal
performance. If you are serious about your car’s
performance, this is the cam you need.
