Wished that I had my Alfa bike jersey this afternoon when I was riding up Stevens Canyon Road in Cupertino and a white Giulietta Spider with the top down passed me. No, I couldn't catch it.

Crazy weather -- riding in short sleeves in February.

update 2/19

This should be the last update before the storefront goes live for ordering !!

All artwork and logos have been approved and they are ready to roll.

There is a question, however, as to what shade of red we should use. I'm not going to get into specifics, but what kind of red does everybody want: a true red (not exceedingly bright but definitely red ) OR a slightly darker red more like an Alfa racing red ( not maroon or brick, but darker).

I have seen both in the sunlight ( color swatch ) and both would look good.

Lemme see those opinions !

Dan

Hi Dan, I'd prefer the brighter red just to (hopefully) make the rider more visible.

Whichever red is closer to the red in post #67 . Much darker and the definition between the red and black gets lost.

I agree with this statement... so my vote would be for the slightly brighter red.

update

Talked with the designer at the company. Looked at the color samples in the daylight and found a good red, not too bright or dark and with good definition and visibility.

They will be printing me a mini swatch with our colors and once that is okayed by me the storefront will be open. I will post a direct link when it is open.

Thanks for bearing with. I know this has taken some time but this is my first time doing this and I want it right.

Sounds like progress Dan. We'll be ordering two or more when the store is open.

I'm in for one. I have an original De Rosa long sleeve in really great shape but it's too big for me (XL-ish, I'm an L) and I'd prefer the short sleeve, more modern style. Nice work.

Alfa cycling jersey ordering is live !

Okay everyone,
the Alfa Cycling Jersey team storefront is LIVE ! This will only be open for a couple weeks so don't wait. We all want to get these as soon as possible !!

Just follow this link: https://www.podiumwear.com/team-stor...alfa-jersey-1/

The password is: jersey

Remember: Bronze is more of a casual wear item. Sizing charts are listed. The Bronze jersey fits as the size chart says. If you ride more than a few times a year you will want the more contoured Silver jersey. They fit very snugly. My opinion is that for a nice and not too snug fit go up one size from the chart. For a loose fit go up two sizes.

All orders will be direct through the company. There is a fee for this but you get the peace of mind and convenience of having your order shipped STRAIGHT TO YOU ! Isn't that cool ?

If we exceed 24 units sold the price of each jersey will drop by $5 !!!

Tell everyone !

Dan

No way to estimate the UPS intl. shipping cost, might be worth doing a group order?

not sure if the site is having issues... tried to purchase a jersey, used 2 different CC's which are both in good standing... in fact called customer care on one of the cards, and they said they are not blocking the transaction.

Will try again tomorrow...
