What to do with old parts?

So, I have two transaxles for a GTV1750, and a seized 2L motor with spica. Axles: one has bad bearings, other is mystery... No one locally is interested in them, and I can't see someone wanting to ship one of these. What to do with them? Take them to the scrap recycler?

Here is an example. An AlfaBBer had an old steering wheel - completely trashed except for the one little piece I needed. He was happy to provide it and I was happy to get it!

At a minimum, pull the injection pump, lines, and TA and call Wes Ingram. He'd probably be happy to pay the cost of shipping for the cores.

Or you could take them apart and stick them on eBay. Heads aren't difficult to ship, nor are sumps, front covers, etc.
