Pictures??????????

Hello Donn,

You need to post some pictures. How can you put a value on
something you have not seen?

This one seems considerably larger and is new rather than used, but it's a start:

Lighted AR signs (from dealerships and service centers) have sold here on the ABB and eBay for years at a wide variety of prices typically from $200 - $800. What it is "worth" is simply what someone is willing to pay. If you are offering this sign "for sale" I'd say your best bet is to post an ad WITH PHOTOS in the "parts for sale and wanted" classified section of the ABB and/or eBay.

Go to post #4 in this thread to learn how to post photos: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/anyt...ease-read.html It's pretty simple, but you have to make sure the file sizes are small. If your files are too big you can resize them for free on many photo resizing websites (just Google "free photo resizing").

Very cool Donn. Most of the light-up AR signs I've seen are simply the emblem (sometimes double sided). Are you gonna try to sell it or hang on to it. Please PM me a price if you're thinking about selling.

Nice!! I haven't seen that style before, though I'm sure others have. It's good to see the light box is still intact. Is it single or double sided?

I found mine (no light box) a few years ago on Craigslist in Oklahoma City. I talked the guy down to $75 so the 850 mile round trip was worth it.
ClassicAlfa has a lit reproduction version of this available for $633.

What is you sign worth? I don't know. All I know is that vintage dealership sign prices (mostly the early neon and enamel varieties) have increased quite a bit in the last several years. Like Fangio said, it's worth what someone will pay.

I got mine for identifying a trailer load of mixed up Alfa/Brit car parts when the dealership closed.
A half hour after I left the dealer who bought out the load came looking for the sign for his bar.
I was long gone by the! worth a day in a hot trailer! Better in my Bar!
