The plastic bezel around the sunroof handle is nearly impossible to find in decent condition. Someone has recreated those in metal, but they aren't cheap.

Not sure what #2 on your list might be?

I should have a seat belt receptacle for the passengers side tho. E-mail me and we'll see if we can solve that part. Any other GTV6 bits on your list?

I am referring to the cover labelled N in the photo. I am also looking for Rim hub cap for the original rim. Diameter is about 2 inches.

Re #2, do you mean the handle for the hand throttle? The N on the handle is a stylized butterfly valve.

I'm surprised you have one on an '86. I have an '83 which has it and an '84 which just has a blank space on the dash where the handle would be.

Bibendum59, this picture was given to me by a friend. My 1986 has a blank space, I thought there was supposed to be a cover. I can’t believe Alfa sold a car with a blank space on the dash! LOL

Maybe your dash was replaced with one from an earlier car at some point. This is what my '84 looks like:

That must have been the reason! Thanks for solving the puzzle.

From an e-mail exchange with Bert:

I'm mailing a seatbelt receptacle off to him today.

His dash has the hole for the idle control. But the handle is missing, so he would be OK with just the handle to fill the hole (even if it's not connected to anything functional). I recommended that he consider a dash cap to solve two problems. If he selects the dash cap without that hole... he covers the hole and any cracks in the original skin.

And you guys have pointed him to a sunroof handle bezel from Highwood at a reasonable price.

Team project... but Bert should be good until his next issue pops up.

Yes, Thank for all your help.

I am trying to replace my steering wheel ( 1986 GTV^) with a 1982 steering wheel. Does anyone have the Hub for that steering wheel?

Bert,

Can you include a pic to explain the hub question? If I'm not off target here, I think all the GTV6 models used a splined hub. And maybe a Spider used a woodruff key to secure to the steering column. Since there can be some mixing and matching from past owners, you may have the column or the wheel from another model? Just a thought.
