Lexan Windshield - GTV

I am looking again for a polycarbonate windshield for an early (gasket type) GTV. My racecar needs to go on a diet and the glass windshield is really heavy. Send a PM if you have one to sell, or respond to the thread if you know if a good supplier.

Thanks

Hello Somer, you have a point there. Could you steer me (us) to the one for sale in the Index?
Cannot find it.

Thank you.

I’ve been quietly making and selling these for 20+ years. They’re $375.00 each plus box charge and UPS usually another $75.00 Take a close look at what Classic Alfa has since you’re on the East Coast. I hardly make anything on these which is why it’s such a poorly kept secret.

Fred, I am glad you are still doing these windshields. Are you using the Margard polycarbonate material for yours?

Dave they’re acrylic, never an issue, good enough for airplanes and helicopters good enough for race cars. The poly distorts when you bend it. Thanks for your mention, appreciate it.

Is it possible to use these for GTV 2000 road cars also? Cheers.

Not really unless you plan on removing the wipers. One thing that really helps is to keep it clean whenever possible and then only clean it with plexi cleaner products and soft towels.
