Its like this grille.
6 or 7 bar centreheart and the grille itself is made up of two left and two right pieces.
Thanks

Not to take business away from franjo, but Classic Alfa does sell repro center and side grilles. See their part numbers CH092 and CH008.

I know they are very expensive new
For interest has anyone purchased one from Alfaholics or Classic Alfa and compared to an original.
Alfaholics is stainless- Classic Alfa is alloy.

I think that the center grille is stainless steel and am not sure of the side grilles, but I used to own a 1967 Duetto and all of the grilles were stainless steel.

Those lattice grilles are zinc die cast and then chromed, I understand that they are difficult to re-chrome, the center heart is also a die cast part I think the actual slats on the six bar version are chromed brass, while the later seven bar version has a stainless steel bar. I think that this grill could be made in plastic and chromed like many modern cars.

I have an original center grill...but sent you photos of a front bumper a few weeks ago and never heard back....so maybe a deposit for photo's? Takes a little effort as I live in the woods with no internet or smartphone...maybe I will just trade this grill for a can of beans or sardines.

Thanks

So going on that ( regarding the Lattice grilles), if i found a old one in poor condition it may be hard to rechrome anyway
So if purchasing a new one would you get the alloy version or stainless ( i have never seen either in the flesh), has anyone?
cheers

Gt 1600 grille- 105

Rotten pot metal is a nightmare to rechrome, copper usually get bubbles due to low electric conduction. My test with silicone mold not good-it expand at high temp. so repo is also larger

Franjo they look Ok to me, if there is a little variation in the size I don't see a problem.
