Looking for a pair of Italian made webers for 2l twinspark.
I just restored a pair of Weber DCOE9 ...6G From early 1970
Main Jet 130
Air Corrector 200
Emulsion Tube F9
Idler Jet 45-F-8
Pump Jet 35
Starter Jet 60 F-5
Needle Valve 200 (will include a set of 150's)
Auxiliary Venturi 45
I do not media blast.... restored to period correct patina see attached photos ( the starter jet in one unit is being replaced I ordered the parts from Italy will be done in the next ten days.) all hardware (fixing screws) have been reblued...all brass polished accelerator pumps glide like new...
I've had excellent luck with Dellorto's, too. I have 45's on a TS and 40's on my '69 Spider. I have a brand new pair of 45's with air horns as well. $525 shipped. (USA)
Dellorto's are excellent choice, have recently had issues with Spanish Weber's worked well for a while .....then and spontaneously under high G load pukung fuel out of the choke vents.... not sure what the issue is ...chasing gremlins ...float levels, seats...no casting cracks.....the plastic floats were weighed , fuel flow/pressure etc...happens to both carbs ... I am contemplating a choke block off kit ....hesitating to do this as the problem came on suddenly ....any suggestions...??? Application is a 1600 formula 2 engine...stiff mounted ..What are we missing?????
