Isn't that for a 1750?

I'm sorry, that is for a 1750. The 2 litre ones are different.

The parts manuals for the Berlina 1750 (Pub 1380-R1) and the GTV/Spider 1750 (Pub 1387) show part number 105.41.13.012.02 for the bell housing. The parts manual for the GTV/Spider 2000 (Pub 1849) shows part number 105.12.13.012.00 for the bell housing. The parts manual for a 1984 Spider shows part number 115.44.13.001.00. So, at some point in time, the bell housings changed. The parts manual that you are looking at is more than likely the Rapid parts manual from 1974.

My understanding is that the one pictures above is for 1750 because the selector forks will come through the hole in the top. I know that sometime during the 2 litre run, the bell housings changed as did the gear boxes.

By 1984 it had pads for flywheel sensors, would have arrived in 1982 with the first Bosch cars. I think in the 1750/2000 era, the differences are 1969 has a unique setup for the seal/input shaft area (according to Larry Jr of APE), then you have the closed front and open front styles for the shift rods that do or do not come through the bellhousing. But unquestionably for a hydraulic clutch.

Basically its for the 1974 and earlier hydraulic 105/115 gearboxes. 1975 is around the time Alfa closed up the odd shaped hole and change to the screw in reverse light switch.

1969 1750 Spider Veloce w/dual webers, 1969 1750 Berlina, 1971 1750 Spider Veloce w/ dual webers, 1985 Spider Veloce 23,000 orig. miles, {Two} 1986 Spider Veloces, 1987 Spider Veloce bought new, 1988 Quadrifoglio, 1991 164S, Plus several more. I think they are breeding.

You can use that particular bell housing for early and late style gearbox's. With some reversing light mods, and if its a BOSCH car you will need a stand alone distributor as there will be no flywheel sensor pads. You cannot use the closed bell housing Andrew mentioned with an early gearbox as the rods need to pass through the bellhousing.
