I just acquired a quite cosmetically nice '87 Milano. Sadly, it is an abandoned restoration project (my neighbor buys storage lockers, just like on TV and ended up with it) and the engine is totally dismantled and I have not yet had a chance to determine if all of the parts are there or even why it was taken apart, although I did find a set of what appears to be compression numbers that seem to suggest a lack of compression on one entire bank.
So, does anyone have a preferably running, or at least intact engine that they would like to part with.
Too bad you are at the other side of the world. I have a 70,k miles Engine, complete I've been sitting on for a few years now. $400. Bob in Oregon Here is a pic. robert.p.lesher@gmail.com
Drop me an email- radioal at sccoast dot net. I might be interested if you can ship it. I have done Fiat motors by FedEx freight and it wasn't all that bad.
Too bad that you did not want it earlier. I was stuck with a good one for 2 years and I was unable to sell it. I would have taken $150 for it. I ended up breaking it and selling/giving away the parts. Try Al Taylor - Bavman25 in NC. There is a good chance that he will have one.
I have a couple extra 2.5 engines up here in Vermont. One could be available for just parts if you decide the one you have in kit-form gets reassembled. Or, a more complete engine if you require one with less work. Also, a 3.0 Verde to consider too.
