This is still available. Pin could also be used to locate a watts link.

Can this be used in a 101 chassis? Do you have a price in mind?

What is your price?

How much are you asking for the rear axle? I presume you don't have the rest of the required assembly, correct?

David,

I don't know about the 101 chassis. Price is $2200.

Steve O

I have the rest of the assembly, however it is not for sale and being used in my car. I have seen a number of fabricated side assemblies as well as actual reproduction units by Italspeed (don't know if they are still in business) otherwise the pin would lend itself to a fabricated watts link that would offer some adjustment to axle location that the true sliding block brackets do not.

Price is $2200.

I believe the cost of the O.S. Giken LSD for the 105 is around $1800 alone.

Sorry to be a complete buffoon, I know the sliding block is a racing/track application, but exactly what does it entail? I should've asked Santo or Anthony when I was still out in Calif., but it always slipped my mind when I was admiring whatever was in the shop at the time- what is the theory of operation, or how does this work, and is it recommended for street applications, or is it soley for track use? Thanks for humoring me!

You'll have to search for pictures as I don't have any here. The Sliding block, Watts Link, and Panhard Bar are all rear end locating devices (side to side) that lower the roll center of the rear suspension of the car. This improves cornering grip. Many will argue which is better and for what reason, but I believe the sliding block is best due to its simplicity and light weight.
