Exclamation URGENT WTB Alfa Romeo 164 Coolant Part..

Hi all,

I'm in desperate need of part #18 in the diagram pictured below. This is the part that is directly on top of the water pump on a 1991 - 1993 Alfa Romeo 164. Now, there are a couple versions of this. Some have a plug (ie part #2), some have a small tube coming out, and some have a large tube coming out. I need the one with the large tube coming out like in part #18. I believe these were on all 164 S models as well as 164 automatics and maybe a few others, I'm not sure. If you have it, please let me know as soon as possible.

Thank you!!

Item 18 started with chassis 6229911 (both later L and S) when they went to large hose and steel tube over rear valve cover for heater return for quicker heater warm up.

That inlet return to pump is 1" instead of 3/8" for models that had just engine oil cooler lines. Both L and S models had this upgrade.

I called them earlier this week and they weren't sure if they had them...still waiting to hear back.

Thanks Steve, I figured as much. Just one more thing to hang up when you're installing the motor, right?

If anyone has one, I would be very greatful to take it off your hands for a fair price!

I have it, I think. I always have it. LOL. Man I wish people would think of me more often. dang it!!!

I need to know though it it is a later model? As steve states. I have an early 164 and later. Either way I have one, you can always modify the early for the later. I have done it before. Not hard.

Jason, my 164 is the later model with the larger tube (~1" per Steve). I'll order it now if you have it.
