My car is now beyond the asking price and is yet to be painted/assembled.
Did I miss the boat....again? LOL

FYI, more pictures of this car (including some underbody pics) can be found on Mike Sheehan’s web site here.

Hi Alberto and Ruedi. I think this is a car I went to look at some years ago after it had arrived in Vancouver. The owner was going through quite an extensive renovation, and was a nice guy. He had removed most of the AC, and as I needed a condenser shroud and fan purchased a number of the AC parts from him. I felt at the time that, although not original, it looked very nice in that color. I have no affiliation with the current owner or seller. Cheers, Dale.

This one is more of a Montreal 'do-it-yourself' kit car; only needs "everything but paint"...

Mark,
Was this once a red car or is that rust proofing under the car?

If I recall correctly the ad stated that the car had just been repainted its original blue color. It is most likely red rust proofing that is shown under the car. I can't imagine it had previously been painted red with the 'bizarre' original blue and turquoise interior.

It would probably help the seller if they showed photographs before, during and after the new paint job and perhaps a video of the engine running on its 'external' fuel supply.

Dealers are discovering the cars. Montreal's are finally emerging from being "unknown". Collectors who already have Ferrari's and Maserati's, are moving to these cars, because of the excessive purchase costs of those two marques. When they want to add to their collections, the "lesser", yet still desirable and exotic Italian cars are moving to the forefront. Big demand for the Omegas and Italia's today. Iso Rivoltas are now close to $100K. The Montreal finally gets the recognition it is due.

Saw this Yesterday As Well

Very surprised the dealer didn't detail the engine compartment. Even "survivors" (whatever that means) should be clean.

There is one locally for sale, Candia, NH. It is listed on Hemmings. I saw it in the shop in July during Cars & Coffee. It is being sold by Historic Motor Sports. These are straight up guys who mostly work on British cars, but have done some restoration work on Alfa's.

The story was that someone locally imported the Monty from Italy.

Rare to see a feedback score that low. Hopefully future owner inspects it first.

Noticed that too. Only 94 transactions, but still.

I believe that is a longtime NH Montreal. It resided in the Weare/Henniker area for quite some time. I had seen some pictures of the car in the past, and only heard of it's existence. Seems like a real nice car.

This looks like a well-bought 1972 Monty.
