Hi John the security door plates have arrived thank you .
I believe the seat size changed in 1973/4 to allow taller drivers a little more leg room making for a more comfortable drive.
Again thanks for the plates.

John,
My rear seat is the later type so I don't believe it will fit my car, shame. Thanks for your help.
Regards Geoff.

Garage
I purchased the black covers for the headrest adjusters from Hennalore here on this forum (contact Montigirl, I think; she still pops in from time to time). They were stamped out of metal and painted black. They worked very well and are not likely to break! I believe the ones in the photograph were made by Giorgio Penatti in Italy -they may or may not be available still...

John's question to the back seat :

is that correct the 2 different sizes?
anyone know why there is a difference?

The difference between standard modell and last modell is a chamfer of 20 degrees of the leading edge reducing the bucket from 25 to 20 cm allowing the front seats to be moved further back.
See Bruce Taylor's " The Essential Compagnon " page 28 .

Giorgio Penatti, has nothing left.

Again, depending on quantity, and if my parts are good enough to pull a mould,
I can replicate them. No one, or mostly, will do this operation.

Please advise.

Regards, Alberto
