Now that is a "Project Car" if I ever saw one! Looks like an enormous amount of work and a lot of parts needed that may not be available anywhere... like Glass, etc.

It does however look complete. It's a shame that what appears to be a minor frontal which could have been repaired with little expense some year ago.

Looking at the horde of desirable Porches in the background their may be a history of high price expectations. But given the price of Montreal parts now, I guess there could be a few takers at this price.

Yes, it was me that bought that one..
The car was in storage for many years and the family of resent deceased owner decided to give the car to a car broker that also does some repairs.
Lets just say it was made to look nice for the pictures..
When it was delivered it almost caught fire from the fuel leaks, and oil leaking all over the alternator so nothing electrical would work.
But after about 3 months at the local shop I'm finally driving it.
What a dream. One of the best cars I have ever had..
The eyelids still are not working, just waiting on the rubber boots from AMS, then I can get the AC all put back in because its hot here right now in California.
Other than that its great..
Thanks for the tip about closing up the hood scope so water doesn't get onto the engine.

Swedish Montreal previously owned by an enthusiast and with "original wheels" for only 93.600 USD. Disregard the bonnet/hood ! Press the "Vergrössern" sign to get big photos!

wow.. That hood is really out of place on any classic car.

Obviously owned by some one who loves Alfa Romeo going by the adornment of Alfa bling on the on the car.... one could say perhaps a loved a little too much and the owner has gone a little overboard.

I suppose just a sign of how depreciated in value the Montreal was for a very long time and some owners felt these changes perhaps increased ithe value or desirability.

Looking at the decal low on the rear window: Inte snabbast men snyggast ( saying: not the fastest but the prettiest), I remembered to have seen that car before. That is before all the "improvements" on the car.

Here how it looked before the enthusiast made the improvements

Anyway right car or not, the untouched version looks best in my eyes!

There is a gold Montreal on eBay. Does anyone know or claim this car? It almost looks too good to be true but it has a reserve that has not been met...a few mods, like the shift boot, the NACA duct has been opened up so rain can get into the Spica pipes, starter, etc. and make them rust; it needs a new exhaust system.

I have never seen this car in any local AR club events. Candia, NH isn't exactly isolated from metro Boston yet it is.. Ask for shop references before you get too serious. It's a pretty sketchy listing that begs more disclosure. Might be a good find if everything pans out. I like the color on these.
