saw this today in town

Thought I'd share these pics. I hang out on the 164 side of the BB and live in NE Italy. In my area there are a few Monty's around and they are all used on a regular basis. This one was being given a kwik clean at my local station while the owner was in the fruit shoppe across the street. We have a very good Alfa garage in town that can deal with Spica and see them there from time to time. I can call 4 off the top of my head in the local area. Ciao, chris

This Montreal looks very nice and original. Usually a rare sight but perhaps not so rare in Italy. The Vitaloni Californian style mirrors, I once installed on my 1974 Alfa Spider, just don't seem to work as well with the Montreal body style. The mirrors would be an easy swap! Thanks for the photo JC.

I drove around Friuli for about 4 weeks in total in my last 2 trips there..but I manged to see less than half a dozen Alfa's all the while I was there. Of those, only one was a vintage ...an Alfa Spider...needless to say I was disappointed. But then again....here too we only see them at meets and car events.

1750gt...well mostly you are going to see modern cars but surprising a small percentage only were alfas.
Where i usually go in Italy....a small town in Lazio, there are usually a few alfa giulias or alfetta being used on regular basis but I am only speaking of the area I visit so i am not going to say that is true for the rest of italy. Well I hope when I visit Canada there are a few classic alfas that are to be seen also....or just see them at an event while there..smile

Here too they're pretty scarce...except on cruise nights which take place once a week in Toronto ....Cruise nights..

Or at the big event in Toronto.....Italian Car day....
