Interesting. You have the hands of an illustrator but your head is in graphic design. Any preference between the two or do you jump back and forth however the mood strikes you? (One of my illustrations is on your earlier thread.)

How about the first Watkins Glen race in '48, won by a pre-war Alfa?

Hi Miha,

Great art, but difficult for us to translate into apparel. Check the styles on our web site and other t shirt images like Johnson Motor works or the Dolce and Gabbana McQueen T.

We are interested in boosting our licensed products with Carroll Shelby Cobra - Daytona-Mustang (including GT350 - GT500 - Terlingua), Ford Motor , specifically Mustang, and possibly Corvette (new for us).

Historical footnote - that Alfa was driven by Frank Griswold, whose son, Stephen, had the Alfa/Ferrari/Aston dealerships (and restoration (where I worked) and body shops) in Berkeley, which for a time (I was told) sold more Alfas than any other dealer in the western US.

Personal trivia - One day, when I was helping Stephen go through some parts/cars at the restoration shop, I commented on the dilapidated condition of a particular rusty partial body, chassis, and some suspension bits that were stacked on the huge shelves at the back of the shop. I said, "Who would want to keep something in as bad a shape as this?" Stephen remarked that I had just displayed my ignorance of Alfa Romeo models - it was the remnants of a Touring-bodied 8C-2900B Mille Miglia - a similar model to the non-Touring/MM his father drove in that race. If you're gonna get schooled, it might as well be by the best.
