As far as I know, the archive is currently closed for some works being carried out in there.
Reopening scheduled late october.
Be patient...

I emailed Elvira a couple of days ago with a request for information about my 1974 Spider Veloce and someone from the Alfa Archives replied within 24 hours. Very exciting!
Is anyone familiar with an Alfa dealership in Englewood Cliffs, NJ? My car was originally purchased by a dealer there and I'm wondering if it was an individual dealership or a distribution point for all US Alfa dealers.

Englewood Cliffs was the distribution center for Alfa in the '70s

Thanks! I suspected as much.
Unfortunately, this means the ownership history of my Spider remains a mystery.

1973 Giulia

I have a 1973 Giulia that I've had in storage since 1992. I went to look at it this past week and it's pretty rough. The body and interior are in desent shape and it ran when I put it in storage. I'm wondering wheather to restore or sell. The vin # is AR3001128 and I'm looking for more info on the car. Can anyone help.

Write an e-mail to [email protected]. They will tell you when it was built and sold, what the original color was, etc.

Be aware that "ran when put in storage" doesn't mean much. Besides rust, a car sitting that long may have a problems with fuel system, bearings and seals. If you need technical information, check out the CarDisc DVDs with all kinds of manuals.

info needed on a VIN number

Hello,

I worked for ALFA in the 1970's and am looking at buying an old spider.
The VIN number is 149510359. A picture shows a dual Weber setup, but
the car is not listed as a Veloce. Can you provide me with any
information you have on that VIN?

Thank you,
VM

Welcome to Alfabb, VM. You may want to send this information to the Alfa's Centro Documentazione as described further above.
