68 GTV on BAT

I have listed my 68 Euro 1750 GTV on BAT. It's a wonderful garage find that was garage stored for over 40 years. It has 45K original miles. It was on the road from 1968-1977. Has "Flying Buttress Seats". Would make an easy restoration with rust limited to lower front fender only. Has original floors that are in excellent condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hope to find a good home for this great GT!

Wow, I just bought a 1968 1750 barn find also in Michigan. Awaiting a full and loving resto when MR GPRocket has time.
Good luck with the auction. Looks like a great resto project.
Cheers,
Joe

Thank you...the GTV is heading back to Europe. The new owner is from Holland.

Great car.. wish I was 20 years younger. Harrie and I would have had a Donnybrook on this one. Disappointing reults for you . This car will be on the road and very very nice before this time next year and the owner will not be under water. He is probably awe struck by the results..I've always said the best bargains are from the upper right quarter of the country. No one paid attention to the fact it has been stored for 40 years and the rust showing would have been there after driving in five rainy seasons anywhere other than the wretched Mid-west...RUST BELT. Send me some like this any day.

Yes there are some rusty cars up there but there are some pearls. I've seen West Coast cars far worse that don't get punished.
