1974 Spider

Was used for occasional racing. Registered and street legal. Runs well.

Seeking advice on pricing from neutral parties.

Mechanical and exterior:
Polycarbonate bushings replaced recently; upgraded shock absorbers
Porsche clutch
2.0 l engine - well maintained: recent valve job.
Moved battery from left front (engine compartment) to right side of trunk to improve weight distribution.
Special ignition system - not stock, improves performance. Especially at higher RPM
Custom Enkei wheels (non-stock)
Recent, high-quality paint job. No rust on body. No dents.

Interior:
Racing steering wheel
Roll cage built for safety - too high for top. Roll cage that fits included, but not installed.
Metal framework for top included, but not installed. Material for top needed.
Flooring and floor mats removed (weight reduction) - may have flooring available (TBC)
Psuedo-racing seat installed for driver with 5-point harnesses driver and passenger.
Door panels were replaced - almost new
Original seat and extra car parts included

As per usual.. your customer will come from a 200-300 mile radius.. Without posting your location this ad is a waste of time. Your range is from 6 to 10 thousand .. pick a number in between and take what is offered in the range. just my 2 cents. There is a '73 (same car) that hasn't moved above that range and IMO is a way better investment and car at 13. https://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/alf...er-veloce.html

Car is in Mountain View, CA

Thanks for the advice. The car is in Mountain View, CA. Sorry that was missed in original post. It is my fatherís car and he is in terminal stage of lung cancer. I am selling for him.

I live in Bellevue, WA, near Seattle. If we donít sell before my dad dies, I may take the car to Washington.

Sorry to hear about your Dad.

Hopefully you'll get some response on the car now that people know where it is.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad.

I just sold a similar 74 Spider for more than $5k, but stock with a little rust.

Put it on eBay and you should get $5k easy. If you bring it up to WA and restore the interior it's worth more like $10k, but as a sort of track car the market is limited.
Good luck, I'm a licensed dealer and long time Alfisti and happy to give a little free advice as you're in a tough spot. Just PM me.
