Thinking of selling my Duetto. Its largely original and has had a recent PPI from a specialist. It's a beautiful car that has been sitting in my storage facility. Just dont have time to enjoy it and my Montreal needs all of my attention at this point :). The chassis # is AR665153. This was in a gentleman's collection for over 40 years and serviced by the same specialist for 20 of those years. Asking $45k

The only issue that needs to be addressed is the radiator should be replaced which I may do this winter.

I may consign the car locally as well-

Thanks,

I'm not a prospective buyer - already have a Duetto - but just to save time:

- Where is the car located?
- Were any holes drilled to install those aftermarket side impact guard strips?

If you can stand the heat from the peanut gallery..Bring-A-Trailer seems to be an option. They will allow a reserve and 45 sounds like it could be doable but you have already shown your hand on that. . It is 7 days of hell getting put through a ringer but for $99 it saves al lot of show-and-tell from lookers who just want to kick tires. Be prepared for driving videos and even compression tests and lots of photos inside, outside, and underneath if you go that way and want to max out. You might be able to skip the CT if you have lots of maintenance records that show the car is sound mechanically. The radiator will bring on tons of questions.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm most likely going to consign it and see what happens over the winter. This Duetto is very special and I'm thinking twice about selling it. Such a wonderful car- as usual one is torn between keeping it or getting it into the hands of someone that will drive it as it should be driven. I try to remind myself that I'm not a museum curator- I'm a car enthusiast :)

As usual, my comments are taken as devious and out of context...I have never trashed seller's cars for sport.. not here nor on BaT especially if i have no interest in the car and I don't with this one.. I'm simply stating the obvious. I didn't raise the point of the previous BaT sale. I was simply cautioning the seller there will be a lot of questions from the informed buyers. I'm out of this thread... more important things to do.
